FPV (first-person-view) cinematography is where Hammarstrom Aerial started, and it is still what people call us for first. An FPV drone flies where nothing else can — through a doorway, down a stairwell, under a moving car and back into the sky, without a single cut.
We run two kits. The small kit carries a GoPro 8–11 at up to 160 km/h and is light enough to fly indoors and through tight interiors. The large kit puts a full-frame Sony A7SIII, Fuji XT3 or RED Komodo in the air for cinema-grade FPV when the frame has to hold up on the big screen.
One continuous move, no edit
The signature FPV shot connects spaces that would normally need a cut — exterior to interior, floor to floor, ground to air — in one breath. It pulls an audience through a location and gives a sequence relentless momentum. We choreograph the move with the director, rehearse it, and fly it until it's perfect.
Chases, proximity and dive shots
For action and automotive, FPV keeps pace with vehicles and athletes through terrain a gimbal car can't follow, holding tight to the subject at speed. Proximity and dive shots skim surfaces, thread gaps and drop through vertical space with control — footage post-stabilised to a clean, cinematic finish.
